Twelve graduate and undergraduate students from The University of Findlay recently presented scholarly research at the 2009 Minds at Work Student Research Conference at Heidelberg University in Tiffin. The College of Business at The University of Findlay supports student research and conference presentations as an avenue for increasing student competencies in the areas of communications and networking. The students completed their research under the guidance of Nabarun Ghose, D.B.A., professor of marketing and business. The presentations were well received, drawing an average audience of more than 40 and including standing-room-only presentations. The presentations at Heidelberg were the first in a series of presentations the students are working on. The next scheduled presentations will be at the Symposium of Scholarship and Creativity at The University of Findlay on April 7, which will be followed by presentations at the India-USA Global Business and Networking Strategy Conference in Chennai, India, June 12-14.
